Alfreds Lights

The Alfred’s lights pendant line of telewire light fittings was created in collaboration with master telewire weaver, Bab’ Alfred Ntuli and Elizabeth Joubert of Tin Lab designs. Inspired by the practice seen as early as the 1960’s where Zulu night watchmen started weaving scraps of telephone wire around their traditional sticks. These ceiling lights add a modern twist to an age-old tradition, with a distinctive aesthetic to any interior.
